Our club offers a variety of activities that make being a member truly special. One of the highlights is the fun bus trips from September until April to stunning gardens, where we can explore beautifully landscaped spaces and gather inspiration for our own projects. These excursions are not only a chance to learn about different gardening styles but also to bond with fellow members who share a passion for plants. The bus trips are run at a very reasonable price, with a great morning tea provided by the committee.

Regular meetings are another great feature, with guest speakers from the gardening world providing expert insights on everything from soil health to creative landscaping techniques.  Their knowledge helps us grow both our gardens and our own expertise.  Meetings are held in the Senior Citizens Hall, 3 The Crescent, Springvale on the third Wednesday of the month, doors open 6:45pm for 7:30pm start.  Meetings usually finish around 9:30pm.

There is a $3 entry fee which includes a chance to win a door prize (usually a lovely plant for the garden) plus a cuppa and a trading table, selling home grown pants, preserves and bric a brac.

We organise table displays during gatherings, where members showcase their favourite plants, flower arrangements, herbs and vegetables.  Professionally trained horticultural judges attend the meetings to provide feedback and award points for the best exhibits.

It's a fantastic way to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from experts, and be a part of a vibrant community that share a deep love for gardening.  Come along to a meeting or two and see if our garden club is for you.  We are sure you won't be disappointed.
